As many of you know, the debt relief act was orignally in effect until January 2009; however, it looks like they just extended it until January 2012.
This is excellent news for all of you short sale investors out there!

I absolutely can’t believe this… Apparently, a woman sent a threatening fax to her mortgage company telling them that she would be dead by the time they foreclosed on her house. (The fc sale date was that same day.) Unfortunately, this was not a threat.
